Engagement Photo Shoot in Bedfordshire
As a Wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many couples’ engagement photo shoot. It is a great opportunity for the couple to become more relaxed with me and in front of the camera.
From the moment Claire & Mario arrived, it was clear they were both completely smitten with each other. They couldn’t stop laughing and smiling at each other, and it was infectious. We spent the next couple of hours exploring and looking for great spots to shoot, chatting and talking about their upcoming wedding.
I loved capturing their natural interactions, as they strolled through the wooded walks and shared tender kisses under the trees which lined the river banks.
The Danish Camp
The Danish Camp is a unique location and a picturesque setting for an engagement shoot. Located in Bedfordshire, England. The Danish Camp is a Norwegian log cabin surrounded by woodland on the banks of The River Great Ouse in Willington, just east of Bedford. The site has a long history dating back to Viking times and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Danes, navigating from as far away as the North Sea set up a camp to care for their ships here.
Here are a few additional tips for making the most of your engagement shoot;
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You’ll be doing a lot of walking, so it’s important to wear clothes and shoes that are comfy.
- Relax and have fun! Engagement shoots are supposed to be enjoyable, so relax and enjoy the experience. Don’t worry about being perfect, just focus on having fun with your partner.
- Leave phones & bags in the car. These can become distractions in the final images and look a bit odd.
