Wedding Photography at Sulgrave Manor
James and Lorna’s wedding was a traditional white wedding with a Scottish flare, at the beautiful secluded location of Sulgrave Manor.
I started the day with Aaron and his best man Craig getting ready at Aaron’s parents house. Their home was just a stones throw away from wedding ceremony itself. There was lots of laughter and messing about (Like most groomsmen at weddings). But thankfully we had Aaron’s mum to keep timings in check.
A tradition that I love at weddings is the exchange of gift boxes. When these boxes contain messages from their future bride or groom, they can produce some lovely emotions for the camera. Aaron’s mum did the honours of providing him with his gift box when I arrived. Lorna, by being prepared during the pre-wedding chat, helped this unfold and ensures you get those memorable photographs.
Sulgrave Manor
The wedding ceremony and breakfast was all held at the single beautiful location, without interruption from the public. Therefore the tranquil seclusion and exclusive use meant the days events ran smoothly and had that special intimate feeling. The mid-16th century Tudor hall house is a stunning ceremony location. The rustic courtyard hall makes for an amazing room for the wedding breakfast too.
Sulgrave Manor is fantastic when it comes to wedding photography. From it’s beautiful garden, orchard, paddock along with the day’s events happening at the same location means it’s a real dream from a photographer’s point of view.
I can’t thank Aaron and Lorna enough for choosing me as their wedding photographer. This was the first time shooting at the manor and it was a real privilege for me.
