LGBTQ+ Northamptonshire Wedding Photography
I was honoured to shoot Hannah and Gemma’s LGBTQ+ Wedding at the Courtyard & Barns. This was one of the first same sex marriages I’d photograph since the 2014 law was passed in the UK.
The theme of the wedding was vintage tea room which can be seen specifically in the wedding breakfast table decorations. A choice made by Gemma due to her love for vintage fashion and hair. Additionally with the backdrop of the Barns & Courtyard, Hannah & Gemma’s wedding was full of unique character.
No fairy tale wedding is smooth-sailing all the way, as you will see the day started very wet and rainy with intermittent downpours of rain. Even so, this didn’t stop the Brides from enjoying their big day.
In preparation for your wedding day is its always best to check the weather report. This is to say if there are signs of rain, let your guests know to bring umbrellas and don’t forget your own!
Gemma had a beautifully styled parasol umbrella that complemented her look. Both brides chose to wear the traditional white dress on their day. They both look stunning with their own unique style showing through.
